The compact multifunction measuring meter combines the functionality of three useful measuring instruments at the same time (laser distance meter, cross line laser, tape measure) and hence is recommended as mandatory equipment for both ambitious do-it-yourself enthusiasts and industrial users (e.g. architects, engineers, interior designers, craftsmen).
Easy measurement of distances, surfaces and circumferences
As a classic laser distance meter, the BD8M easily measures distances up to 40 m, surfaces as well as volumes in interior spaces. To ensure a maximum profitable use of material for renovation work, the precise calculation of floor, ceiling or wall surfaces is therefore a cinch for the laser distance meter.
Cross line laser and tape measure included
With this functionality, which would already mark the limit of many laser distance measuring devices’ application options, however, the potential of the BD8M is still far from exhausted. If required, an integrated cross line laser projects intensely bright laser lines on substrates, for instance to perfectly align drill holes, pictures, tiles, strips of wallpaper, wall cabinets or shelves.

An integrated, 5 m measuring tape with practical retracting button is the ideal assistant for manual measurements, for instance of shelves, to determine the exact length that is required. Non-slip softgrip inserts in the measuring device provide for a secure grip in all measuring positions.
The BD8M records distances up to 40 metres, surfaces as well as volumes of interior spaces. With the integrated cross line laser, drill holes, pictures, tiles, etc. within a range of up to 10 metres can be aligned precisely. The perfect design of the robust and shockproof housing allows for the use in rough conditions on construction sites.

The data determined via laser measurement are shown on the backlit multi-line display in clearly readable fashion and are additionally saved in the internal data memory (max. 20 measurements). Addition and subtraction of the measurement data can be carried out as well as continuous measurements with MIN/MAX function (stake-out function).
Follows your thoughts and switches off automatically when it’s not used
For a maximum operating time, the BD8M is provided with an intelligent automatic switch-off function which switches off the laser after 30 seconds and the whole device after 2 minutes fully automatically. This intelligent power saving function is especially helpful in the hectic daily construction site routine and makes the BD8M a cash cow among the distance measuring devices.
